In June 2007 I went to the Lake District for the week, having not been since graduation way back in 2000!

I stayed at a really nice guest house called Elder Grove in Ambleside. It's a family-run affair and Paul and Vicky the owners were extremely friendly - I highly recommend a stay there.

Apart from the first couple of days, the weather was pretty wet, so I couldn't go up too high.
